Ananda Kiamsha Madelyn Leeke is a lawyer turned “Jill of many trades:” innerpreneur, author, artist, creativity coach, digital communications consultant, reiki practitioner, and yoga teacher. She started blogging in 2005, and has published several books, including one that grew out of her blog posts. She created the Digital Sisterhood Network, a media channel that celebrates women in social media and technology, is a frequent speaker at conferences and events like Blogalicious and BlogHer, and was named one of the Black Women in Tech You Should Follow on Twitter in 2011 by Black Enterprise. She has served as a social media leader for the White House and the U.S. State Department, and these experiences inspired her to establish the Digital Citizenship Project, an online initiative that encourages individuals to marry their passionate interests and digital presence to support causes, events, movements, policies, and programs that build awareness and community and create positive change. She is a graduate of Morgan State University, Howard University School of Law, and Georgetown University Law Center, and she currently serves as CEO of Ananda Leeke Media, a digital social enterprise company based in Washington, D.C.
