Christine Hyung-Oak Lee has been blogging since 1995, back before a weblog was called a “blog.” She has been a WordPress blogger since 2006, when she launched an anonymous blog jadepark.wordpress.com to chronicle her recovery from a stroke at the age of 33. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in ZYZZYVA, Guernica, The Rumpus, BuzzFeed, and Hyphen. She was awarded a residency at Hedgebrook, and her work has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize as well as placed in competitions by Poets and Writers Magazine’s Writers Exchange Contest, Glimmer Train, and others. She is at work on a stroke memoir, based on her blog, and a novel.
